Quando Apple rilascia un nuovo spot è un po’ come una goccia che cade in uno specchio d’acqua piatto: l’impatto è notevole. Forse sono di parte, o forse no, ma c’è sempre un po’ di magia e una passione travolgente che si percepisce in quel minuto e mezzo di pubblicità.
L’ultimo spot è dedicato all’iPad Air ed è intitolato “Your Verse Anthem” e il tablet di Apple viene descritto come un poema a cui tutti possono contribuire aggiungendo i propri versi.
Con questo spot Apple arricchisce la sezione “Pianeta iPad” all’interno del proprio sito con nuove storie (al momento disponibili solo in inglese LINK).
Al contrario degli ultimi spot rilasciati, questo non è muto, e hanno deciso di dare ancora più forza alle immagini con la voce di Robin Williams che recita dei versi tratti dal film “L’attimo fuggente” (uno dei miei film preferiti) dove l’attore interpreta il prof. John Keating:
We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering — these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love — these are what we stay alive for.
